Here the breakfast bar is perfectly positioned in front of the picture window allowing you to enjoy the views whilst drinking your morning tea or coffee. From the lounge double patio doors open out onto the spacious covered terrace with chunky wooden farmhouse table for dining al fresco, overlooking and leading down to the pool area.
All four spacious bedrooms with attractive hardwood floors, boast their own private bathroom, all with patio doors leading onto a balcony or into the garden. The villa is situated around a 15 minute drive from the beautifully picturesque, historic town of Ponte de Lima, one of the oldest in Portugal, with a choice of restaurants and shops lining its charming streets, and famously home to the bridge of Lima. When you combine this with the stunning views and complete peace and quiet in an amazing villa, you really have the best of both worlds.

Spacious cinema room with comfortable sofa and large screen. Twin bedroom with ensuite shower room. Another twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Each of these bedrooms have doors opening onto the front garden and lawn. Sauna room with adjacent shower.
Upper floor
Open plan fully fitted kitchen and lounge area with doors opening onto the front large balcony and pool area. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite counter and back splash, oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, etc. Breakfast bar with 2 stools. The lounge has 2 comfortable sofas, TV and music centre. Guest toilet.
Double bedroom with a queen size bed and ensuite shower room. Master double bedroom with queen size bed and ensuite shower room. Each of these bedrooms have doors opening onto a large balcony with superb views of the Lima river valley and XI century roman bridge.
Adjacent to the main house is set a large built-in barbecue. There is plenty of quality outdoor furniture for alfresco dining where you can enjoy the panoramic views.

A beautiful stone-walled garden with paved courtyard, a large private pool (10 X 5 metres / depth from 1 to 1.8 metres), shaded vegetable garden area on the lower level just off the pool area. Private parking space.

From the booking date until 57 days before check-in, cancellation would have a penalty of 25% of the total price of the rent.

Lovely and quiet. Extremely well equipped. The villa is high up (hence the lovely views) and is reached via single track roads. We wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future.

É uma casa bastante acolhedora, cómoda e excelente para aproveitar o descanso do campo de uma forma descontraída e revigorante. As vistas para o centro de Ponte de Lima são espetaculares e o fato de estarmos a apenas 10 minutos do centro é uma grande vantagem. A casa tem tudo o que se pode precisar, desde uma churrasqueira e alpendre para refeições ao ar livre, uma piscina e jardim espetacular com muito espaço e muito bem tratado, cozinha, sala de estar e jantar ampla e bem arranjada, quartos grandes e confortáveis, e por fim uma sala de cinema e jogos de vídeo (Man Cave) simplesmente divinal. Foi uma semana espetacular que passamos em família, com a certeza de voltarmos. Uma vez mais obrigado pela vossa atenção e disponibilidade, até breve.

Set in an elevated position and surrounded by large grounds, this typical "Minhota" granite stone house is the result of a renovation project finished in May 2010. A unique retreat which blends superb views and unspoilt landscape with all the comfort while being in the perfect position to explore the countryside and delightful roman town of Ponte de Lima. The interior has been comfortably furnished with a range of carefully chosen furnishings, creating a lovely atmosphere. The living room opens onto the pool area and barbecue terrace with table and chairs perfect for al-fresco meals. For a taste of the Minho life, you must visit the oldest village in Portugal - Ponte de Lima - with it's XI century Roman bridge, main square, cathedral, coffee bars, superb restaurants and shops, Peneda Geres National Park (35 minutes away), Viana do Castelo historic centre and stunning sandy beaches (25 minutes away), Barcelos market town (30 minutes away), Braga and Guimaraes World Heritage Site (both within a 40 minute drive).
