Casa Dourada is situated in the centre of one of the most emblematic cities of popular art, Barcelos. It is set on the Caminho de Santiago Way, within easy reach of the Cávado river and within walking distance to many interesting sites, including the cathedral, open-air market, and museums. A perfect location to explore one of the most beautiful roman towns in the Minho region. Originally a noble house from the 1950s, it was completely renovated and decorated in a Happy-Chic style, offering a calm and comfortable environment to guests.
The house consists of a Sitting room, kitchen, reading corner and covered terrace. There are 2 double rooms and 1 twin room. It is situated within walking distance (3 minutes) from well-known restaurants and 7-minute walk from the train station. Also about 20 minutes away from the beautiful beaches from the North Atlantic: Apúlia; Esposende, Fão, Póvoa do Varzim. The nearest airport is located in Oporto only 54 km away. The city of Braga is only 24 km away.

Simply put, this is the best AirBnB we've ever stayed in. We were welcomed by Sandra, who has made all the art and decorations in the apartment herself. She left us something to eat and drink after a long Camino walk. The apartment looks amazing and see more
Simply put, this is the best AirBnB we've ever stayed in. We were welcomed by Sandra, who has made all the art and decorations in the apartment herself. She left us something to eat and drink after a long Camino walk. The apartment looks amazing and was super clean. If we had more time, we would definitely stay longer. Its location is close to the historic center (about 300 meter walk). Thank you Sergio & Sandra!
