Casa Dourada is situated in the centre of one of the most emblematic cities of popular art, Barcelos. It is set within easy reach of the Cávado river and within walking distance to many interesting sites, including the cathedral, open-air market, and museums. A perfect location to explore one of the most beautiful Roman towns in the Minho region. Originally a noble house from the 1950s, it was completely renovated and decorated in a Happy-Chic style, offering a calm and comfortable environment to guests.
Sitting room, kitchen, reading corner and covered terrace. There are 2 double rooms and 1 twin room.
Guests have total privacy.
It is possible to book only 2 bedrooms and have exclusive use of the house. The third bedroom will be locked. It is also possible to choose from the double and the twin room or two double bedrooms.
The house is situated within walking distance (3 minutes) from well-known restaurants. And only a 7-minute walk from the train station. It is located about 20 minutes away from the beautiful beaches from the North Atlantic: Apúlia; Esposende, Fão, Póvoa do Varzim.
Airport in Oporto is 54 km away. The city of Braga is only 24 km away.

Such a wonderful place to stay! Great artistic details made by Sandra. She was also great at communicating. A very cute spot in the middle of town and seemed to be a 5-10 minute walk to anything in town we wanted to see. I wish we could have stayed msee more
